BCCT recognises that Covid-19 will have a significant impact on all our lives for the immediate future, socially and economically.
We aim to press - working remotely and independently - and relying on technology for our communications. Our meetings will be via video, using Google Meet.
Despite Covid-19, we will be implementing the two major projects for which funding has been received – the climate action plan via Bude Climate Partnership [link to our page], funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, and Bude Business Voice [link to BBV site] funded by Cornwall Council Community-led local development (CLLD).
Some of what we do depends on collaboration with key partners, eg Bude-Stratton Town Council, Cornwall Council, local businesses, and many partners, may slow down projects - such as our aspiration to create a Community Business Hub.
Where progress is possible, we will continue to work. In addition, we’ll be using the time to improve our readiness for when more ‘normal’ times return and adjusting to different ways of working.
