Bude Surf Life Saving Club and Cleaner Seas project

"Saving Lives, Saving Seas, Securing Livelihoods'

It's been a long wait from April when a stage 1 application was submitted to the Coastal Communities Fund (Round 5). Delighted that an invitation has been received to complete a stage 2 application - for a £1.3m scheme to replace the 45-yr old club house more suitable for the ever-expanding membership and the work being done, by the SLSC and the Cleaner Seas team. The project will create 5 full-time new jobs, and be of benefit to locals and our visitors.

A huge amount of work is involved to get us over the second hurdle. It's a competitive process with no guarantees.
